Welcome to Queen City Art!
We are one of Charlotte's longest-running community visual arts hub and since 1965, we have worked to provide a vibrant, high quality, and highly accessible space for local artists. Through shared gallery space, and low cost personal exhibit walls, public classes, and powerful, diverse community exhibitions, we aim to bring the Creativity of Charlotte to the Community.
We are located right in the heart of our city’s historic arts district North Davidson (or NoDa for short), QCA connects regional creative talent with the wider Queen City community.
Whether you are a newcomer eager to discover the true creative spirit of the Queen City, a local business looking to support regional creators, or an artist ready to find your home, we invite you to experience and shape Charlotte’s visual heartbeat!

Located at 4237 Raleigh Street, Charlotte, NC 28213 our gallery space is full of over 20 Unique Local ‘Resident Artists’ who rent out their own wall space to display and sell their wonderful and unique creative works. Buy directly from the artists and take home a wonderful local creation today!
In addition to our residents, we host monthly Themed/Curated Art Exhibits and Collaboration Events with Community Groups and other Non-Profits who can create impactful and interesting experiences using our gallery space.
This month, we host Emancipation, as we prepare for our upcoming Summer Juried Show!

2025 Lifetime Achievement Award: Will Bosbyshell
For more than 40 years, Will Bosbyshell has been a member of the Charlotte arts community and a devoted member of what is now Queen City Art. This Lifetime Achievement Award honors his enduring commitment, creative legacy, and profound impact on generations of artists—past, present, and future.
