Frequently Asked Questions.

What is QCA?

QCA stands for Queen City Art and we are a non-profit organization located in Charlotte, North Carolina nicknamed the “The Queen City” after the once Queen of Great Britain, Charlotte Sophia. Our goal is to provide a space for Artists and Creatives in the Charlotte Area the opportunities and spaces that will allow them to flourish and bring their art back into the Greater Charlotte Community.

What does being a Member of QCA mean?

As a non-profit, we rely heavily on donations from our community at large, we also would not be able to survive without our member artists. Becoming a Member of QCA means that you are committed to the cause of bringing Charlotte Art from Charlotte Artists, to the citizens of Charlotte. Membership brings with it many financial and creative benefits within the organization, but anyone can become a member even if they dont consider themselves an artist or creative, all are welcome!

What are some of the Member benefits?

In addition to discounted entry fees into the monthly exhibitions hosted by the QCA, you are also granted exclusive access to one Members Only Art Show every year. We are also coordinating a number of “Offsite Curations” where Members have a chance to get their art shown in a number of small businesses around the “Queen City” for free!
